There exists a group of Muslims, who though they have correct Tawhid, they are like vipers in other parts of the Deen. They are at a level of outright stubbornness, in acknowladging an intergral part of the Religion, That is Apostacy.
There are some unfortinatly prominent people with large swaths of followers, who in alot of cases outright refuse to touch the subject of AL-Riddah, even though it is fard ayn to. It is encumbent on every single muslim, to know what takes them out of islam. You HAVE to know what violates your islam. Its not optinal.
There are three catagories of things that take you out of Islam. Apostate Sayings, Doings, Beliefs.
Beliefs-
- believing Allah does not exist, believing his attributes to not exist,
- likening Allah or his attributes to the Creation
- believing the prophets do not exit
- believing the prophets did kufr or major sins or where wrong
- believing the angels do not exist
- disbelief in al Quran, Day of Judgement, Ressurection, Reward, Punishment, Paradise, Hellfire
- believing in a Rasul or Nabi [prophet or messenger] after Rasululah Sallahu Alayhi wa Salaam
- believing something is harram when your clear that it isn’t
- believing something is halaal when your clear it isn’t
- believing that a creation knows completely the unseen
- believing someone is a muslim when you know they are not
- believeing someone is a kafir when you know they are not
- believing allah is above the arsh
- believing allah has hands, feet, shin bones, body, particles, face, smiles, location
- believing the universe is beginingless
- belief that allah has a begining or end
- belief that hellfire or paradise end
- belief that allah has gender
- belief in partners with allah
- beleif that Allah does not will the bad
- belief that anything can happen without Allah being the one who willed it
Sayings
- to say to a muslim “oh kafir, oh jew, oh christian” with the intent to invalidate their islam
- to say to a kafir “oh muslim” with the intent to ligitimate their kufr
- to say Allah does not exist
- to say Allah’s attributes do not exist
- to say Allah has body or parts or direction or location, Allah does not have an image
- to deny the companion ship if known companions {such as Abu Bakr]
- to belittle or belie the religion, Allah, The Quran, the Prophets, the Angels, ressurection, judgement day, paradise, hellfire
- to mock any of the aboved mentioned
- to ask someone a question when your certain they will say kufr
- to ask someone a question when your certain they will say kufr
- to ask someone a question when your certain they will say kufr
- to say anything, even if it isn’t a question, and you KNOW someone will respond with kufr
- to say anything, even if it isn’t a question, and you KNOW someone will respond with kufr
- to say anything, even if it isn’t a question, and you KNOW someone will respond with kufr
- to remove or add a letter word or phrase to the Quran dilibrately when it should be otherwise, and when you know how to pronounce correctly
- to say that its halaal or harram to do/say/believe something, when you know it is not
- to say something happened without the will of Allah
- to say Allah does not will the bad
Doings-
- to premform acts of worship to show off or mock or belie the religion, and expect a reward from Allah
- to do an obligation incorrectly on purpose [such as praying NE in ameirca when you know the Qibla is SE] and expecting a reward from it.
- to throw Quran into trash or najis or any undesireable places
- to do any action that is meant to show disrespect or mockery to the Quran, to things that mention the names of Allah and the like [such as to sit on the quran, to urinate on it, to step on it, to spit on it, etc etc..or to do those things on other religion material that contain the names of Allah, his messengers, the Angels about hellfire or paradise, the day of judgement, the ressurection, and the like]
- to prostrait to an inanimate object, such as a statue, picture, item of some kind.
- to do an action that helps someone else do kufr while knowing that they will do it, for instance, to drive people to Church, to give someone supplies [such as paper and pencil] when you are aware that they will use it to do kufr
this is a short overview of some of the things that remove you from Islam, most of them, remove you from Islam, wether you know the judgement or not. A person could do something they think is good, and be sincere about it, and it could result in them ending up into hellfire.
Rasululah Sallahu Alayhi Wa Sallum said: [translation] <<A person may utter a word he thinks harmless, which results in his falling the depth of seventy years into Hellfire.>> At-Tirmidiyyah
It is evident that a person must learn and avoid those things which invalidate their islam. Not doing so, could lead you to comiting kufr and loosing islam, and you wouldn’t even know it.
